Zimbabwe to raise $5 mln to fight coronavirus

The Ministry of Health and Child Care is setting to raise US$4,7 million to increase the country’s readiness in response to Covid-19.

“About US$4,7 million is needed for the Covid-19 national preparedness. This will be used for surveillance including contact tracing, rapid response team activation and training at all levels, laboratory readiness and sample collection,” the minister said.

More than 60 nurses and doctors attended the event devoted to the infection detection and prevention.
