E-trade leading provider to operate in the Central African Republic

Webb Fontaine, a leading provider of solutions to improve trade powered by Artificial Intelligence and new generation of IT systems, has been awarded a three-year contract to set up, operate and manage Customs-related services in the Central African Republic (CAR).

The e-Customs platform will provide operators with a secure and paperless portal to manage Trade Import or Export Declarations (TID or TED) by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Besides, the portal is to support the online Customs Pre-Arrival Declarations allowing Customs administration to execute valuation and classification prior to the arrival of goods.
