Joint agreement between Civil Aviation Authority of Sudan and South Sudan

A series of joint meetings between the Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority and the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority came to a close on Monday. The progress on the agreement on managing the airspace of South Sudan, run by Sudan in accordance with an international agreement concluded under the supervision of the International Civil Aviation Organization in Canada in 2016.

Sudan, as represented by the Civil Aviation Authority, will supervise the employees training in South Sudan and transfer technical expertise so that the other side is competent to run their country’s airspace according to the international standards.
