Two men believed to be responsible for the killing of a 56-year-old man at a dentist practice in Khayelitsha are being sought by the police, the Cape Town authorities confirmed on Wednesday.
Is has been reported that two armed men had broken into the dentist practice and threatened a security guard with a firearm.
“They took the gate keys and forced the security guard into one of the rooms. The security guard then heard three gunshots, a few seconds later, he discovered that the 56-year-old victim was shot in the head and the suspects were gone,” police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk explained.
According to the police officials, the wounded man had been rushed to a nearby hospital in ICU, where he later died due to his injuries.
The police said a case of murder and business robbery had been opened.
