A long-term disease, cancer, eventually claimed the life of a prominent Libyan comedian, Saleh Al Abyadh, a popular artist especially in the eastern part of the country, on Saturday, the family confirmed.
The comic had started his great acting career in the eighties, he performed with several comic works at the theatre and became a well-known actor. Shortly after, he gained popularity on TV as well.
Some of his best works at the theatre were Koushi Ya Kousha, Miser Khalil, and a series on TV including Shoo, Glia and Democracy, the Station, Al Tayeb Darwish, and others.
A funeral ceremony was held by the family members in Benghazi on Sunday.
