Libya: 90 migrants rescued from floating boat off Khoms shore

The Libyan Navy Coast Guard rescued 90 migrants, including 7 women, who were struggling with the waves on board of an inflated boat 95 miles north of Khoms off the Libyan shore.

A Navy Coast Guard representative stated that the rescued migrants belonged to various African nationalities.

The saved people were provided with medical and humanitarian assistance and are now waiting to be transferred to a temporary detention centre.
