Four trucks belonging to several Zambian companies have been stolen in Johannesburg.
According to the Zambian mission in Pretoria, the trucks were carrying vehicle engines in Wadeville and Kempton Park.
Three trucks were stolen by unknown suspects in Wadeville and one more was hijacked in Joeslovo on Sunday.
“It was reported that the drivers were tied with cable wires and bundled in a car before being dumped at the roadside near the area where the attack happened. The matter has been reported to Cleveland and John Foster police posts for investigations.”
The victims have not reported any injuries. The High Commission is monitoring the matter.
