A five-year-old boy from Cape Town who went missing in June has been found alive.
According to the reports, Warrant Officer Mikey Daniels and Constable Emile Farao received information that the little child had been seen in an isolated informal settlement along the N2 near Gordons Bay — the area located more than 40km away from the boy’s home in Delft.
When the SAPS members arrived, they saw the victim lying in the bushes and crying for help.
“He was crying a lot and said he was given a beating by the people,” Daniels told the local media.
The young resident was diagnosed with multiple bruises and burnt feet.
However, it is yet unknown what exactly happened to him after his mother had sent him away for school holidays.
