The 2019 Miss South Africa pageant final, considered as the most glamorous night of the year, is to offer an amazing entertainment programme. Apart from these 16 contestants, many musical talents are to perform on the stage at the Time Square Arena in Pretoria. One of them is rapper Sho Madjozi.
The highly anticipated event was rescheduled because of the main sponsor’s withdrawal earlier this year. Yet everyone agrees, no other day like August 9, the Woman’s Day, fits better.
The organisers are also going to honour the women influential in their communities with a Mother of the Nation award open to nominations from the public. No wonder, the female music performers invited to participate in the show are as inspirational.
“My story is testament that you can come from any village, in any forgotten part of the world, and still be a superstar. For girls that come from where I am from, which is Limpopo, I just want to say that you don’t need to change who you are, you can still be big,” Sho Madjozi stated once.
She will be joined by Amanda Black and Rowlene. As for the male performers, Jesse Clegg and Nasty C agreed to entertain the audience. Bonang Matheba is to host the ceremony.
For those of you who haven’t bought a ticket yet, there is still some time left. Otherwise, you may watch the show live on M-Net and Mzansi Magic. It is to start at 5pm on August 9.
