Hopper HQ, a media company based in the UK, has released a global list of the best paid Instagram bloggers. One of our beauty and lifestyle vloggers, namely Mihlali Ndamase, made it to the list with the reported $1, 800 (R25, 000) paid per post.
Ndamase has over 730 thousand followers on Instagram (@mihlalii_n) and took the 135th line on the above mentioned list. The South African beauty influencer, who started her career by shooting make-up tutorials in her bedroom, has been ranked the 17th highest paid make-up artist in the world.
Apart from Ndamase, the list also features the following African ladies:
Keroche Breweries heir Anerlisa Muigai (@anerlisa), a successful entrepreneur from Kenya known to many by her inspiring weight loss journey, has been ranked 129th and 18th under Lifestyle category with 834 thousand subscribers and $3, 400 (R 47, 500) paid per post.
South African supermodel and philanthropist Candice Swanepoel (@angelcandices) is ranked 4th under the fashion category and 49th in general. She makes $46, 700 (R650, 000) per paid post and has 13.5 million followers.
Singer, songwriter and actress Tiwa Savage (@tiwasavage) from Nigeria has been ranked 48th with 7.6 million subscribers and 22nd under the celebrity category with $47, 200 (R 659, 000) paid per post.
Nigerian actress and producer Funke Akindele Bello (@funkejenifaakindele) with over 8 million followers has been ranked 45th and 20th under the celebrity category with $50, 500 (R705, 000) paid per post.
The top position belongs to businesswoman and reality TV star Kylie Jenner who makes $1, 266, 000 (R16.6 million) per post. Singer Ariana Grande (R13.8 million), Cristiano Ronaldo (R13.5 million), Kim Kardashian (R12.6 million), and Selena Gomez (R12.3 million) are in the first five on the list.
