Seven arrested in CT for drugs, guns, and ammo

Seven suspects have been detained by the police officers in the Blue Downs Cluster. They are suspected of possession of illegal firearms, ammo, and drugs.

According to police spokesperson Lt Col Andre Traut, the officers received information about a 49-year-old woman and two men, aged 24 and 32, being in possession of several handmade firearms, tik, and mandrax.

During further investigation, the officers arrested a 20-year-old male. He was found in possession of mandrax tablets, dagga, and tik.

“In Afadjato Street, Delft, two male suspects, aged 26 and 28, were arrested with an unlicensed 7.65mm pistol, five rounds of ammunition, tik, and mandrax tablets. Our final search was conducted in Anreith Street, Belhar, where a 21-year-old man was arrested for being in possession of mandrax tablets,” Traut advised about the rest of the arrested.

All seven suspects are expected to appear in court.
