Kimberley man alive after being electrocuted

A man from Kimberley is lucky to be alive after getting electrocuted at a substation on Thursday afternoon.

The injured man was found lying in a bakkie belonging to a security company by the ER24 paramedics who responded to an accident on Cape Town Road in Beaconsfield at 1pm.

After a brief assessment, the paramedics noted serious electric burns on the victim’s face and hands.

The man taken to hospital in a critical condition.
