A young female student from Torrance, California, died in a vicious shark attack while snorkeling in the Bahamas.
Jordan Lindsey, 21, decided to visit and enjoy the beauty of Rose Island beaches together with her parents.
The woman was in the water when reportedly three sharks approached her. The family, who spotted the large dorsal fins, attempted to warn their daughter but their screams were lost in the sound of the ocean.
Just minutes after the wild animals attacked, the victim was rushed to the shore and transported to Doctor’s Hospital in Nassau. However, the severity of injuries did not give any chance for the local surgeons to heal them and Lindsey soon died.
“We already miss her so much. She was so caring,” the victim’s father said. “She loved all animals. It’s ironic she would die getting attacked by a shark.”
