Diego Maradona has decided to finish his work with the Mexican second-division club Dorados due to health reasons.
According to his lawyer, Matias Morla, the 58-year-old coach has decided to stop working with the club after his doctor advised to devote more time to his health. Maradona will also undergo two surgeries.
“We thank the entire Dorados family and will continue the dream together in the future,” he added.
Maradona started working with the club in September 2018. The coach planned to leave the club after the end of the season. He stated that the league’s referees were biased against him.
