Four men accused of an armed house robbery in Vredenburg in the Western Cape are to appear in court next week.
The initial report discovers the circumstances of the incident. The suspects entered the house through a glass door by breaking it. When they got inside, the homeowner was there, and it confused the intruders at first. They then threatened him with a knife and robbed him of a laptop, a wallet and a cellphone.
A manhunt was launched by Vredenburg police, it resulted in the capture of the villains. All the stolen items were restored during the detention.
According to police spokesperson Siyabulela Malo, the suspects are aged between 19 and 23.
They are expected to appear in the Vredenburg Magistrates’ Court on the charges of house robbery on June 17.
