Western Cape police launch manhunt for Stefan Smit’s murderers

Western Cape police officers are searching for the suspects who attacked Stefan Smit’s farm. The owner of Louisenhof Wine Estate has been killed during a house robbery.

According to police spokesperson Lt Col Andre Traut, the officers are investigating the circumstances around the incident.

Stefan Smit was shot dead at home by the armed suspects who had entered the premises through an open door. They fled the scene with personal belongings of the farmer.

The police urge anyone possessing the information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the Crime Stop.
