The 57-year-old child abuser, Carl Lotter, has been transported to Nelspruit Mediclinic following an armed assault on a commercial farm in Hoedspruit, according to Hoedspruit police spokesperson Sgt Libhuwani Malaudzi statement. The attacker is yet to be caught as no arrests have been made by the police.
“Lotter had allegedly been busy working and saw a stranger walking around the property, which he apparently presumed to be either an illegal harvester or a “bush butcher”, someone who actually slaughters cattle on farms illegally,” a source close to the investigation explained.
Lotter apparently came up to the unknown man to chase him away and was then allegedly hit with what appeared to be a panga. Lotter is still in critical condition with no signs of improvement.
Lotter was previously sentenced to four years’ imprisonment in February 2014 after being found guilty of eight counts of indecent assault and sexual abuse of two children of a family friend.
