Yesterday’s report revealed the details of attempted rape and subsequent kidnapping. Today the Northern Cape police department declared they are strengthening measures as huge search for a missing two-year-old baby is continuing and no progress has been made since it started.
It is said that the K9 unit, rescue services, and police on horseback were joined by members of the community in the search.
The preliminary police report stated that a mother of a 2-year-old baby boy was assaulted by an unknown man in her house in Kimberley while she was sleeping. The woman managed to fight the rapist back and then he had fled allegedly kidnapping her baby girl.
The local police officials said that the suspect appeared on four accounts of attempted rape, house breaking with intent to steal, house breaking with intent to assault and kidnapping.
