The Kruger National Park shared a video that went viral on social media. An elephant filmed by a young couple charged their car.
The couple was sitting in their car during safari and watching an elephant close by. It was peacefully chewing on tree leaves. Then, without warning, the elephant turned around and charged their car.
Only by putting his car in reverse, the driver made it possible for the couple to escape unscathed. The animal raced the vehicle for some time, then relaxed and left for the bush.
“We both sat in silence as the elephant moved off, knowing how lucky we were to survive this,” the survivors commented.
