Pretorian child rapist ended up in hospital after overdose

Nicholas Ninow, the man accused of raping a 7-year-old girl, was transported to hospital after sustaining a drug overdose.

The man is believed to have injected a mixture of drugs into a wrong vein. After the injection, his whole arm got swollen.

Ninow was accused of five cases of rape, assault, possession of drugs, defeating the ends of justice, and kidnapping.

After a 30-day psychiatric evaluation at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital the man was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

He has been in custody since September 2018. His trial is scheduled to September 9, 2019.
