On Wednesday, a Durban man died after being electrocuted and knocked down by a car.
According to Rescue Care spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, the unlucky man was working on overhead wires near Bluff Road in the Bluff area.
“He sustained an electrocution and had fallen down below. He stumbled across the roadway and was unfortunately knocked down by a vehicle,” Jamieson explained.
All the attempts to resuscitate the man failed, and he was declared dead on the scene.
The investigation is underway.
