Great white shark pup rescued by surfers in Victoria Bay

The Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs reported a case in which a group of Victoria Bay surfers took pity on a baby shark and carried it to another part of the beach in order to release.

A video shot by surfers showed the desperate attempts of the great white pup to escape rocks on a shore. As it can be seen surfers are carrying the baby shark using a board to another part of the beach to let it swim away in the wild.

The shark was found stranded on rocks at the beach on March 23, according to local residents.
