Twenty-four women saved from brothel in Mpumalanga

SAPS and Witbank SAPS officers rescued 24 Zimbabwean women from the brothel in Emalahleni.

Sex workers lived in a bar in the central district.

The raid of a suspected brothel by the SAPS and Witbank SAPS officers was held on March 6. They were searching for counterfeit items and illegal contraband.

According to the Brigadier Delisiwe Motha, all the women rescued from slavery will be giving a statement against the bar owner.
