Police of Pretoria detained two men, they were accused of alleged killing of an 18-year-old student. Investigators are supposing that the student was pushed out of the seventh-floor window of a block of flats in Arcadia, east of Pretoria, during the early hours of Saturday morning.
“According to an eyewitness account, the victim was involved in an argument with the suspects before he was pushed,” police spokesperson Captain Daniel Mavimbela said.
According to Mavimbela’s words, the student was rushed to hospital but unfortunately died the same day.
“Police worked “tirelessly” throughout the night and arrested the two men at around noon on Sunday,” Captain Daniel Mavimbela.
Local police commander Brigadier Ramakamakama Kekana commended the officers for the speedy arrests.
Ordinary citizens participated actively in the apprehending the alleged perpetrators. Thanks were also expressed by Ramakamakama Kekana and addressed his gratitude to members of a community.
