There are no excuses for apathy of drug addicted parents

An incident that was revealed by the Christelike Afhanklikheidsbediening (CAB) highlights the drug problem in our society.

By CAB officials statement, an 11-year-old Cape Town boy tried to mimic his father’s drug habits.

The police didn’t disclose the identity of the boy due to him being a minor.

“We are inundated with calls from certain primary schools about pupils coming to school under the influence of drugs. Teachers who spoke on condition of anonymity say a lot of the school violence is linked to substance abuse,” the CAB councillor Crissie Cloete said.

She said shortly after the organization heard about the 11-year-old boy, they discovered that his father had been hooked on drugs, so the child was always surrounded by substance abusers in his home.

“We don’t know how many other similar incidents take place. What we know is that there is an alarming increase of substance abuse among children,” commented Cloete.

We need more policing of drugdealers. Drive these foreighners out of our country. They are killing our youths.
More drug rehab centres are required as well as post rehab centres
