Family in Chatsworth fell victim of an armed gang. Suspects entered the home and threatened to shoot their younger baby if they did not co-operate.
The family was attacked while they were installing cameras at their home before the holiday trip to Singapore and Malaysia.
According to the spokesperson for Amawele Emergency Services Sivan Subramodey, there were four technicians in the house apart from the family members – the husband, his wife, and two daughters 8 months and 7 years old.
The suspects were demanding money and jewelry. One of the technicians managed to alert the security company but by the time the police arrived the perpetrators were already gone with an undisclosed amount of cash.
