Another victim of Durban’s weekend flash flooding was found near a stream, north of the city.

As the provincial Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) department informed, the deceased was allegedly the one who had been washed downstream while crossing a bridge in Verulam on Sunday.

The victim’s body was found near a stream in the Hazelmere area.

The CoGTA spokesperson, Lennox Mabaso, said on Tuesday that one of two people had been found alive while the body that had been recovered was believed to be that of the second man.
