The Tembisa police department investigates a horror story which claimed the lives of two local residents: a young man gunned down his ex-girlfriend, Xolile Mnana, injured her sister, Sbongeleni Dlamini, and committed suicide thereafter.
According to Capt Manyadza Ralidzhivha, spokesperson for Tembisa SAPS, Mnana received a call from her ex-boyfriend in early February, who claimed that the former couple needed to visit a Pretoria court. The man picked up Xolile and went to the capital.
However, later he stopped and left his car in a quiet place, ordering the woman to follow him. As she exited the vehicle, the perpetrator met unsuspecting Mnana with a bullet barrage that led to her death. Later, the man returned to the house the victim’s family rented and shot the ex’s sister, Sbongeleni.
After the incident occurred the shooter fled the scene and committed a suicide. Xolile leaves behind her a 10-year-old daughter and four siblings.
