Johannesburg Magistrate Court sentenced Augusto Cossa, 34, to 15 years following the two cases of hijacked vehicles.
Police spokesperson Captain Xoli Mbele said: Augusto Cossa was on his way from Hillbrow to drop off his friend at Rosettenville when they were confronted by two males. One of them pointed them with a firearm and instructed them to come out of the vehicle. A driver was assaulted with a butt of a firearm and they were also robbed of their cell phones and cash.”
According to Captain Mbele, the suspect was arrested on June 2, 2017. Then the police have managed to link several crimes with Augusto Cossa.
