Joseph Mahloma, Ekurhuleni serial rapist, sentenced to life imprisonment twentyfold

A Gauteng perpetrator, who had committed over 100 of crimes in Tembisa and around that area, was senesced to life imprisonment not only once but 20-times in a row. The serial rapist whose name is Joseph Mahloma was handed his sentences during a process held in the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg.

Despite numerous counterarguments from acused, Judge Leicester Adams said there was little to no presence of Mahloma’s rehabilitation as he did not show remorse for any of his bad deeds.

“Some of your victims have submitted that they have permanent emotional scars, and did not have trust in men anymore after their horrific rape incidents”, Adams said.

During Mahloma’s crime spree in January and August 2014, he invaded resident’s private property, rape lots of women as well as teenagers, also robbing their houses. According to the judge’s speech, more than 20 cases of rape were considered to be serious.
