According to the Seafield police report, a 70 y.o. man was shot and killed in his own bed by an unknown suspect.
Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender had a conversation with a wife of the victim. She described a case:
“As tried to alight, the suspect who was standing at the bedroom window, stuck his body through the window and shot the victim.”
After the crime, the suspect has gone immediately from the scene.
An investigation collected a killer’s stuff, which he was left at the scene.
Port Alfred’s Cluster Commander, Brigadier Morgan Govender, said: “We are deeply shocked by this incident and extend our condolences to the family and friends of the victim. We make an appeal to the community to assist the SAPS with their investigation.”
