Three women were arrested by Limpopo police in Phalaborwa. They charged with possession and dealing in counterfeit money. Suspects bought clothes in several shops.
According to police information, officers were called by community members. According to spokesperson Captain Mamphaswa Seabi: “The police acted promptly and rushed to the said shops and just before the suspects could exit the second shop owned by the same owner, the ever hard-working and dedicated police officers were waiting for them at the door.”
Suspects tried to hide clothes and others evidence, but, fortunately, they were arrested. Officers also added that a total of R900 were found in their possession.
Phalaborwa Magistrate’s Court opened a case of this crime.
