According to Statistics of South Africa, inflation gets higher to 5.2% in November. In the previous period, it was approximately 5.1%.
The main part of the inflation’s increase was alcohol and tobacco that going up to 4.8%, year-by-year. Also, we can see the same situation in miscellaneous goods and services. There is increase by 5.5% year-on-year.
In November inflation for goods increased by 5.3% year-on-year, from 5.1% in October, and the inflation for services was unchanged at 5.1% year-on-year, according to Stats SA.
